We might have put Microcastle’s “Nothing Ever Happened” on this list, but otherwise this seems like a pretty good summation of Deerhunter’s catalog.
So I meticulously made a list of most of the bands that are going to be at Bumbershoot. This is one of the ones I discovered that I liked. (Ivan & Aloysha will be playing Monday, Sept. 2nd)

I’m hella stoked that The Flavr Blue released this new track. Lace Cadence, Parker Joe and Hollis form such a dope group and they have this incredible electro-dance sound that you can’t ignore. Get ‘Ghost’ for free here.
Hopefully we’ll get even more new music from The Flavr Blue before Bumbershoot rolls around, but the excellent “Ghost” should tide us over for a while.

Last week Jimmy had a Bumbershoot act in Icona Pop, now tonight he’s got the Breeders. The man has good taste.
