In anticipation of Joey Bada$$’s second mixtape Summer Knights, which is going to be released June 12, I wanted to post my favorite song from his first mixtape 1999. When he released 1999, HE WAS ONLY 17. THE KID RAPPING IN THIS SONG IS ONLY 17. That is unreal. He is DEFINITELY going to be a future key player in the rap game, because he’s actually a good rapper.
